- FIFA has placed a fine of $31,000 (N11.1m) on Nigeria 

- The elite football governing body placed the huge fine due to crowd violence in the game against Cameroon in Uyo 

- German football federation was also fined 32,000 Swiss francs ($33,000) The Fédération 
$31,000 (N11.1m) for the conduct of her fans in last month’s World Cup qualifier against Cameroon in Uyo, which the Super Eagles won 4-0.


Fifa fines Nigeria $31,000 (N11.1m) for crowd disorder

Nigeria was not the only nation fined as German football federation was also fined 32,000 Swiss francs ($33,000) because fans chanted Nazii slogans at a World Cup qualifying game in the Czech Republic. 

“The range of charges against Germany included fans encroaching on the field and setting off fireworks at the game in Prague,” FIFA said.

About 200 German supporters chanted slogans during their team’s 2-1 win and verbally abused one of the scorers Timo Werner. 

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are currently preparing for the decisive clash against Zambia in Uyo on Saturday, September 7, 2017 with fifteen players already in camp.
