Today, in University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), TechEconomy.ng gathered that Huawei will launch a training centre inside to enable students run their training as independent elective courses while still in school.

“For the first time in Nigeria, Huawei is opening a training centre inside a University to enable students run their training as independent elective courses while still in school.
“They gain professional – industry grade training and certification which places them in pole position for employment immediately after school”, said an impeccable source at the University.
The centre will be officially opened today December 8 at the HAINA Training Centre beside Faculty of Engineering, UNN by 10am.
TechEconomy.ng recall that on October 8, 2016, Huawei inaugurated its Innovation and Experience Center under the Joint Open Lab of the University of Lagos (Unilag) & Huawei in Lagos, Nigeria.
The Innovation and Experience Centre serves as a training platform to nurture more ICT talents thus Huawei in Nigeria will sign a Joint Innovation MOU with Unilag for this purpose.
The Huawei Innovation and Experience Center was built on 500 ㎡, and the total cost of the Center sums up to 6 million USD.
It was established under the concept of “Cloud”; which enables visitors to share Huawei global resources.
While launching the centre, Huawei announced that all players in the industry are welcomed to join and enjoy its unique contents.
It was set up to be an experience center where people can witness global best practice, exchange ideas, explore business solutions through innovation and also a platform to develop win-win ICT eco-system.
The latest cutting edge ICT technologies such as 4.5G, Internet of Things and digital service innovation will be deployed on this platform.
